Yesterday I read that the President (outgoing) of the District No. 1 has opened an assembly of residents at the hall of the former stables for the evening of Tuesday 19maggio.
Subject of the meeting, or rather the excuse, should be a debate on Government Plan of Land, for what concerns the medieval village of Saint Thomas and Pignolo.
It 's true that there is no longer surprised by anything and it seems that Italy is a republic based on the conflict of' interests, but to use their institutional position to make campaign (Dr. Piero Piccinelli is a candidate for City Council for the People of Freedom), dealing with subjects who saw the President to initiate actions in urban development, a legitimate protection of personal interests, at least, is in bad taste.
I note also that the Urban Planning Sector not received any request in order to 'presence, as always happens, technical personnel in order to illustrate the works and the choices they contain. This also says a lot about the level of objectivity with which you want to tackle the 'subject.
However, I reserve to inform the competent authority to verify if this initiative does not infringe the rules on election
