The Pavo Cristatus , Commonly called''Peacock'' , is known especially for bright colors (blue, green, yellow, red ...) on the big wheel'' '' male used during the coupling to woo the female. the contrary, in female plumage shows a less obvious and therefore more camouflage.
The peacock is an animal big enough: the average male is about 200-230 cm wide while the female only 80-90 cm.
The wheel is made up of the peacock also ocelli situated at ' ends: they are very useful for the ' pair of this bird since are more numerous and more indicate that the peacock is in good condition ; for this the female always tries to choose the peacock which has more ocelli.
The peacock was originally only in South Asia, specifically in Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan, but today 'you can ' found all over the world because the man they has introduced into new environments!
